A centennial parade April 13 will preclude an evening with Badin native and jazz great Lou Donaldson in concert, one of the centennial year’s signature events. “Sweet Poppa” Lou is scheduled to be the grand marshal of the grand parade.
The procession will include a veritable smorgasbord of participants with local bands, floats, golf cars, classic vehicles, horse drawn carriages, tractors and many more of your favorite parade regulars.
Badin’s 2013 Centennial Parade will begin at 11 a.m. April 13 and move through the historic streets of Badin, view Parade route. “Sweet Poppa” Lou and his quartet will entertain ticket holders starting at 7:30 p.m. April 13, 2013 in the Badin School Auditorium. Tickets are just $20 for the elite event so get your tickets now.
