Christmas In Badin1913, Town-Wide Lighting Contest, Bury Time Capsule

Storytelling events, a period-costumed “Christmas in Badin 1913” tree lighting and youth choir event along with a town-wide Christmas light contest will help close out the year which will culminate with the burying of a time capsule not to be disturbed for another 50 years or more.

While the Christmas tree lighting has been a community favorite for decades, a newly revitalized downtown, Christmas carol singing, seasonal hymns and the air of centennial fare will ramp up the fun even more. Starting at 6 p.m. December 3 in downtown Badin.
