Pageant & Play at Badin Elementary School Auditorium
Badin’s 2013 Centennial events officially kick off in January with a character-rich theater production penned by North Carolina Award winning author Badin native Heather Ross Miller and directed by Badin native Natasha Wall.
Technical oversight for the production is being managed by James Cotton and stage performances are set to be given by wonderful local talent. The Uwharrie Players and NSMS Cometeers are offering support to the project.
The lively two-act play will include a photo montage compiled by members of the Badin Historic Museum showing the evolution of Badin through the years.
A fascinating cross section of people, places, buildings, businesses and locales will fill the screen and the story will move the audience throughout. Families and friends will have a great opportunity to look into the town’s deep history.
There are 500 seats available in the Badin School Auditorium for each show and seats are just $5 to help offset Centennial event, facility rent and stage production costs.
